Débilorithmicos. Ils viennent de Barcelone, composé de Beatspoke et El Chavo, ils avaient sorti un EP Dimarts i Dijous en 2008. Ils viennent de sortir la vidéo du track I'm Out extrait de cet EP. K7, ça se dit comment en espagnol?

Ensuite on peut mentionner une sortie d'album prévue pour le 20/10 (c'est bientôt ça). The Roots, How I Got Over, dont voici la vidéo du même nom. Un son soulful funky qu'on kiffe sans souci.

Notre homie de Chicago, FeSo vient lui aussi de concocter une vidéo, celle du titre Be Me, issu de son first album Manifeso, dont la chronique JuBox (in english) est ici.

FeSo - Manifeso

After his great mixtape "Don't sleep" out last year, hip hop artist FeSo finally released his first album "Manifeso".

First thing I can say about it: beyond my expectation. Sincerely.

Between hiphop and soulful spirit, sounds are really well-worked. FeSo's flow smoothly slides on the different rhythms that will definitely make shake your head.

My favorite song is For the record for sure maybe due to this awesome soulful loop but the whole LP definitely contains dope pieces.

Conscious lyrics with Change, hot swagger with Untitled or back in the dayz with Old school, all hip hop moods are represented. Musically, each instrument finds its place and makes the tunes sticking on your mind, whether it's keyboard on Go get it, drums on Old School or the awesome saxophone on Paradise.

Who said Hip hop is dead? When listening to such good thing, I'm not really sure...

I know I'm late but…

Yaw yaw homies I know it's been a long time I didn't post anything on our dope blog but actually I'm not able to go on the world wide web, hope issue will be fixed very soon!

FeSo - Don't sleep

Son flow me fait penser à celui de Murs, ses quelques productions sonores parfois à celles de 9th Wonder. Pourtant cette jeune pousse (22 ans) du Hip Hop n'a pas travaillé avec eux (enfin à ma connaissance...). Peut-on alors se dire que cet artiste a un fort potentiel créatif? Je suis tenté de dire oui.

FeSo nous propose Don't sleep, un EP où les productions sont souvent soulful, où les lyrics sont pas mal travaillées et rythmées, où les samples sont sympathiques à l'oreille.

Quelques morceaux retenant mon attention: hommage à J Dilla (R.I.P) dans One for Dilla, un beat résonant dans Long Sentence ou encore un clin d'oeil à une des reines de la soul Gwen McRae dans le morceau You tell me song, qui sample 90% of me is you:

Mon morceau préféré reste malgré tout She's gonna stay.

FeSo sortira un premier album en février qui s'intitulera maniFeSo. En attendant, vous écouterez donc Don't Sleep.
